Tokujin Yoshioka
Japanese designer (1967 - )
Tokujin Yoshioka was born on January 20th, 1967 and is a Japanese designer. With activities in the fields of design, contemporary art and architecture, his works transcend human senses and take nature as their theme are highly appreciated worldwide.
He has won numerous international design awards and many of his works have been chosen from permanent collections in world-renowned museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), the Centre national d’art et de culture Georges-Pompidou (Centre Pompidou) in Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
He was elected by Newsweek magazine as one of the “100 most respected Japanese people in the world”.
